With a visionary chairman our goal looks so near

The surprising fact about democracy is that it is synergises the best of both, the vision of the people, represented by the political leader and the energy of the bureaucracy.

Without a clear vision, that talent of the bureaucracy is wasted. Thus, a political leader can take the rocket to the moon, if he has the vision

Shri GC Chandrashekhar, fondly called GC the chairman of the KUWSDB, ensured that the water board achieved in one year ,what it always wanted to achieve in last 40 years since its inception .

There were 33 chairman in the last 40 years but, none were able to work at this fast pace, with so much transparency and participation. May it be the formation of IT advisory committee headed by the prestigious IIIT Bengaluru or the 24/7 helpline to affected citizens of Chennai, that was recognized by even Google, the board surpassed the expectations.

The board is moving towards paperless office and single windows mobile application for all its interaction with its stake holders. Our goal is to empower the citizens to demand and sustainable, clean water. With a visionary chairman, our goal looks so near.
